Music producer and convicted assassin Phil Spector died of pure causes on Saturday, in response to an announcement launched by the California Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation.

Spector was sentenced to 19 years to life for the 2003 deadly taking pictures of actress Lana Clarkson. The actress was found slumped over in a chair at Spector’s California mansion with a gunshot wound by means of the roof of her mouth.
